SCOPE OF WORK:
The correction of various handicapped code deficiencies in two buildings on the Berkeley campus: Calvin Hall and Naval Architecture. The remodeling of the existing toilet rooms to make them accessible to the physically handicapped in Calvin Hall and the construction of new toilet rooms in Naval Architecture.The installation of a new drinking fountain and modifications to the existing emergency shower/eyewash in Calvin Hall. Relocation of the call buttons at the existing elevator in Calvin Hall. Modification to existing doors including widening existing doors and changing hardware. Two new handicapped access ramps and modifications to existing steps.
